Redistricting has changed our Congressional District from CD1 to CD2. Tom O'Halleran is the current Congressman. He has served in various seats from 2001 - 2007 and 2017 - 2022. Mr. O'Halleran has done very little to improve the quality of life in Northern Arizona. He votes with the radical left, has let our border be overrun by almost 2 million illegal migrants in 2021 and there has been almost 500,000 Border Patrol Encounters already in 2022.
We are experiencing high gas prices, inflation, he has supported a one-fits-all resolution for Covid and it has not worked. Known effective therapeutics have been kept from public knowledge and in some cases restricted and withheld their use.
Government control is on the rise and putting us in a dangerous position to lose our freedom to live as we see fit. Travel restrictions are coming; they want to do away with fossil fuels and restrict gas-powered vehicles. They have discussed taxing us on miles driven, requiring us to take public transportation over a certain amount of miles. Their handouts are a smoke screen for the hazardous amount of control they will soon have over our lives.
They do not know how to spend our tax dollars in a methodical and healthy manner. Taxpayers pay in about 4 Trillion a year... we cannot continue to spend beyond our means. Government programs and funding are at risk of crashing, and that would leave many in a bad situation.
